Senior Tax Accountant

The Senior Accountant, Tax reports to the Senior Manager, Tax and will assist in the preparation of the Company’s income tax accounting and compliance requirements. 

  • Assist with the preparation of tax reporting as required by GAAP accounting standards and SEC reporting requirements 
  • Performing account analysis, reconciliations, tax account roll-forward schedules; preparing journal entries
  • Maintaining the deferred tax inventories, book/tax differences, uncertain tax position (FIN 48) reserves, and supporting documentation
  • Collecting information to run quarterly and annual tax provision models;
  • Performing technical research and analysis of various tax issues related to the Company’s income tax treatment of items on its tax return, tax provisions, and prospective transactions.
  • Participating in the maintenance and documentation of internal controls over tax-related data analysis and computations and assist Internal Audit to ensure no control deficiencies exist.
  • Identifying and suggesting tax process improvements to ensure efficient workflow.

Minimum of 4-5 years combined public accounting and/or corporate tax department experience including federal and state tax compliance and ASC 740 (FAS 109) tax reporting and familiarity with SOX controls and processes. A Master’s degree in tax and /or a CPA is preferred.

Senior General Ledger Accountant

Maintains the Company’s general ledger to ensure reliable financial records, and accurate and timely reporting. General ledger responsibilities include preparing journal entries, maintaining, reviewing and reconciling accounting records, recording and reviewing accounting entries, and ensuring accuracy and compliance to accounting policies and procedures. The position will assist with the organization and preparation of audit work papers and tax templates.

  • Enter transactions in the general ledger in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Ensure that G/L accounts are properly reconciled with supporting documentation
  • Assist with month, quarter, and year-end closing in compliance with US GAAP, tax regulations, and corporate policies
  • Prepare and review financial statements 
  • Assist with the preparation of schedules for management and regulatory reporting, such as disclosures in the 10-Q and 10-K filings, and support internal/external audits 
  • Oversee the timely and accurate preparation and filing of general excise/use tax returns
  • Ensure the Company’s expense reporting/P-card program transactions are recorded accurately and timely
  • Perform special project assignments, analyses, budgets, forecasts and special reports 

Minimum Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent, Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in an accounting role, CPA license or public accounting experience a plus. · Experience with larger systems, such as Oracle, Yardi, SAP, JDE Enterprise One highly desired. 

Chief Financial Officer - CFO

Chief Financial Officer to be responsible for the overall management, direction and coordination of all the accounting, internal controls, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, strategic financial planning and analysis, financial performance monitoring and analysis, and generally maintaining the economic security for the organization. This role is responsible for all financial aspects, including assets, budgets, contract analysis, credit, insurance, regulatory, tax, and treasury in accordance with US generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance or equivalent combination of related experience and education. Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred. Ten years of accounting and finance experience. Five years of management experience overseeing a staff in a US SEC registrant operating in a SOX compliant environment. CPA and or CFA highly preferred.

Civil Design Engineer

Coordinate efforts of team members including design consultants, utility companies and government agencies to complete subdivision and construction documents.

  • Involvement in site development layout using computer assisted engineering and design software.
  • Estimate site construction costs and establish project budgets.
  • Field investigations in observation of projects under construction.
  • Assist in dedication and turnover of completed site improvements to various public and private agencies.

Minimum Bachelors degree in civil engineering or related field. Five or more years of engineering experience in land development, recent graduate will be considered. Previous experience in civil residential design is preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel required and experience with AutoCAD a plus.
